inControl Systems Inc. CO2 Fire Suppression Systems Now Certified with Lloyd’s Register

Ontario, Canada – November 15, 2017 – inControl Systems Inc., a Canadian manufacturer, integrator and supplier of fire protection systems, confirms it has received certification of Type Approval from Lloyds Register of London, for their CO2 fire suppression systems to be used in Marine and offshore applications.
 
The “Fixed Fire Extinguishing System” supplied by inControl Systems is designed to comply with the International Convention for the Safety of Life At Sea (SOLAS) 1974, as amended, Chapter II-2, regulation 10, and the Fire Safety Systems Code Chapter 5. This system is intended for use in cargo spaces, machinery spaces of Category A, and cargo pump rooms.

Along with now being certified by Lloyds Register, the CO2 fire suppression systems from inControl Systems are approved by Factory Mutual (FM) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL/ULC) for land based projects.
