Ontario, Canada – March 7, 2017 – inControl Systems Inc., a Canadian manufacturer and supplier of fire protection systems, introduces LINEA Series, the new tube-based fire protection system for small applications.

The LINEA Series is an automatic fire ex­­­tinguisher using tube-based detection. This latest fire suppression product from inControl Systems acts fast to stop fire before it spreads. Damage and destruction of assets from severe fires is greatly reduced, if not eliminated completely, when a LINEA series automatic fire extinguisher is installed.  

Totally self-contained and fully automatic, LINEA series automatic fire extinguishers requires no external power or connections, while maintaining fire protection around the clock, delivering years of reliable protection. Installation takes just minutes.  

LINEA series automatic fire extinguishers utilize a pneumatic, multi-layer tube to detect a fire quickly. The detection tube is installed inside the enclosure, providing total coverage. The pressurized detection tube is very sensitive and bursts when exposed to heat from early stages of fire. When a fire is detected, the pressure in the tube is released at the detection burst point, allowing the cylinder valve to open and release the HFC-227ea extinguishing agent, thus putting out the fire.

Engine Shutdown Module Now Available for U.S. Coast Guard

Engine Shutdown Module now available for U.S. Coast Guard Approved TORRENT Series by inControl Systems

Ontario, Canada – November 30, 2016 – inControl Systems Inc. a Canadian manufacturer and suppler of fire protection systems for industrial, commercial and marine installations, introduces their new Engine Shutdown module for their U.S. Coast Guard approved TORRENT series Fire Extinguisher.
 
The engine shutdown module is an important accessory for the TORRENT Series fire extinguisher when used in small marine installations.
 
In the event of fire, the system will discharge and the pressure switch simultaneously sends a signal to the Shutdown module to close down all devices and equipment connected to the shutdown relay box (e.g. engines, generators, ventilators, dampers). A red LED “DISCHARGED” light on the display activates along with a sharp acoustic alarm to alert the crew to the event.

Canadian Fire Protection Company Expanding Globally

inControl Systems were so busy offering fire protection solutions to our clients and researching new and better ways to keep people and businesses safe, that our 30 year anniversary seems to have crept up on us. 

This is a hallmark moment for the company, a time to celebrate and a time to evaluate. 

As we move beyond 30 years in the business, we have asked ourselves critical questions that any company would. Are our clients happy? Is there anything we can do to better serve them? Are our suppliers happy? How about our executives?

inControl Systems recently moved and expanded into new facilities, providing larger office space,  great capacity in our factory, and a more robust R&D facility. 

One thing that is crucial moving forward is having a new and expanded website geared towards you and your business.
